In college Patrick studied oil painting under Professor Thomas Rowe, a student of the realist school of Jaques Maroger from the Maryland Institute College of Art.  Patrick graduated with Honors from St. Mary's College of Maryland where he also played lacrosse and sailed.  He has always had a passion for the water and sailed boats on the Chesapeake Bay since he was a small boy.
