MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS
The Breakers Lacrosse Club Program will have U11, U13 and U15 teams that will compete in the fall of 2008 through the summer of 2009. Open tryouts for U11 & U15 teams will be held in September and October of 2008 at St. Paul's School. U13 tryouts will be held in February, 2009. It is anticipated that the U11 & U15 teams will participate in two fall tournaments and three to four summer tournaments. The U13 team will compete in three or four summer tournaments. The U13 and U15 teams will participate in the NYPLL, a competitive club lacrosse league, in the spring of 2009.

COACHES
. Coach J.J. Pearl will head up the Breakers U11 and U15 teams. JJ is an 3 time All American goalie from Penn State University. He also played for the Baltimore Thunder and Green Turtle Lacrosse Club where he was a 4x USCLA All Club Goalie. Most recently he competed and helped win a Bronze Medal for the USA at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in May, 2007. J.J. currently coaches youth lacrosse for the Freedom Lacrosse program.
J.J. will be assisted by Coach Ray Schulmeyer at the U15 level. Ray is a former lacrosse player at Cornell University. He has coached boys and girls lacrosse at Carroll Manor for the last 15 years. He is a founder of the Baltimore Bayhawks and the Breakers Lacrosse Club. The goal of the coaches will be to help develop each player individually and mold them into a competitive team. While individual instruction will not be neglected, a significant amount of time will be dedicated to team concepts. It is our goal to develop and maintain a group of players as they progress from the Middle School teams to the High School level.

SCHEDULE
The U11, U13 and U15 teams will compete in three to four tournaments over the summer. Practices will be held twice in the fall, monthly for February, March, April and May; then weekly from early June through the final tournament. It is anticipated that all players will make a commitment to the program. The development of each player is significantly dependent on the dedication of his teammates. A tentative schedule is below:

TOURNAMENTS
The Breakers Lacrosse Club U13 team will participate in two tournaments in the fall of 2008 and three to four tournaments in the summer of 2009. Indian Summer Tournament will be held in Jarrettsville, MD. The All Met will be held at Georgetown Prep School in Bethesda, MD. Summer Getaway is in Alexandria, VA. Hotel information is on the website. Summer Sizzle will be held locally in and around Baltimore, MD.

EVALUATIONS/TEAM PLACEMENT
Evaluations for the Breakers Lacrosse Club U11 and U15 teams will be held on September 28 and October 12, 2009 at St. Paul's School. U13 team tryouts will be held in February, 2009. Exact dates for U13 Evaluations will be announced shortly. Evaluations will be open to all players submitting a registration form and fee. Players should arrive to evaluations 30 minutes early to register and warm up. The Breakers will field one U11, U13 and U15 team for the fall, spring and summer of 2008/2009. Players will be selected based on their ability. Players should tryout for one position.

FEES & REGISTRATION
The registration fee for the Breakers Lacrosse Club U15 fall program is $275.00.
The registration fee for the Breakers Lacrosse Club fall program is (coming soon).
An additional registration fee will be paid for the spring/summer program. This fee will be published when tournament spots are secured.
This fee includes all field rental, communication fees, coaching fees, administrative fees, supplies, tournament registration fees, and reversibles. New players will be responsible for purchasing a uniform for the spring season. Players will also be responsible for travel fees, meals and accommodations. All players must be members of US Lacrosse. If a player is not a member of US Lacrosse he can register online. NO Registration form will be accepted without a current US Lacrosse membership number.

As waivers for each individual tournament are available, they will be placed on this website. Players will be responsible for downloading the form and returning it to their coach at practice.
