2010 Brine Summer Sizzle Lacrosse Tournament

JULY 16-18, 2010

All Summer Sizzle venues are smoke free and pet free venues. Thank you for respecting our fans and players!

No grills of any kind are allowed at any venue.

The Brine Summer Sizzle Lacrosse Tournament is a competitive lacrosse tournament for BOYS Middle School and High School lacrosse teams. There is one U11 division, A & B divisions for U13 and U15 age groups and JV, High School A and High School B divisions. The tournament will be held at Maryland State Fairgrounds , St. Paul's School, Cedar Lane Regional Park (HS), and Carsins Run Fields from July 16-18, 2010. Awards will be presented to the first and second place teams in each division. College coaches from Division I, II and III schools will be well represented at the tournament.

This year's tournament will be one of the largest and most competitive middle school and high school lacrosse tournaments in the country. Space in the tournament is very limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come basis. It is anticipated that the tournament will fill very quickly after registration begins.

U11, U13 & U15 teams will play games at the Maryland State Fairgrounds and St. Paul's School.
JV High School teams will play all games at Carsins Run Park located minutes from Cedar Lane Park in Churchville, MD.
High School A & B teams will play all games at Cedar Lane Park. This is a brand new 13 field facility in Bel Air, MD. Directions to the fields can be found here.

A $400.00 nonrefundable deposit will hold a team's spot in the tournament unitl June 1, 2010 at which time nonrefundable full payment will be due.

By submitting a registration form for a team each coach acknowledges that he/she has read, understands and will adhere to the rules of play and eligibility requirements for Brine Summer Sizzle.

All parents/players should complete a Waiver of Liability/Medical Release Form. These should be turned in at the registration desk, as a team, prior to the team's first game.

All teams need to submit a complete roster by July 1, 2010. These rosters can be emailed, in EXCEL format only, to info@summersizzlelax.com. Rosters should include players uniform #, name, address, DOB, school, graduation year, phone # and parent's email address. Rosters for High School teams submitted on our team information sheet will be compiled into one, easy to use, spreadsheet and supplied to all college coaches.

Professional Filming Available

Having good game film is increasingly important if a player wants to successfully navigate the recruiting process and maximize the exposure ge receives. INFORMATION REGARDING THE 2010 RULE CHANGES TO HEADS

On January 1, 2010, a new rule which applies to lacrosse head dimensions will go into effect for all men's games officiated under NCAA rules. The rule affects NCAA teams, MCLA teams and select high school teams.
