Brine Summer Sizzle Schedules are now posted. Every team should have five games against five different teams at five different times. Coaches that don't find that should email us at info@summersizzlelax.com to let us know. Also, please let us know if you find any other errors. The Brine Summer Sizzle Lacrosse Tournament is a competitive lacrosse tournament for Boys Middle School and High School lacrosse teams. There are U11, U13 A & B, U15 A & B, High School A, High School B and a JV divisions for boys. The tournament will be held on July 16-18, 2010. Awards will be presented to the first and second place teams in each division. All college coaches from Division I, II and III schools will be well invited to attend the tournament. U11, U13 and U15 games will be held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds and St. Pauls' School near Timonium, MD High School A & B games will be held at Cedar Lane Park in Bel Air, MD. High School JV games will be held at Carsins Run Park in Bel Air, MD. REGISTRATION Registration is currently under way. This year's tournament will be one of the largest and most competitive middle school and high school lacrosse tournaments in the country. Space in the tournament is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come basis. A $400.00 nonrefundable deposit will hold a team's spot in the tournament until June 1, 2010 at which time nonrefundable full payment will be due. Click HERE to download a Registration form. By submitting a registration from for a team each coach acknowledges that he/she has read, understands and will adhere to the rules of play and eligibility requirements. Click HERE to be directed to the Summer Sizzle Rules page. WAIVER/MEDICAL RELEASE All parents/players should complete a Waiver of Liablilty/Medical Release Form. These should be turned in at the registration desk, as a team, prior to the team's first game. Click HERE to download a Waiver of Liability/Medical Release form. ROSTERS All teams should submit a complete team roster by July 1, 2010. These rosters can be emailed, in EXCEL format only, to info@summersizzlelax.com. Rosters should include players uniform #, name, address, DOB, school, graduation year, phone # and parent's email address. Rosters for High School teams submitted on our team information sheet will be compiled into one, easy to use, spreadsheet and supplied to all college coaches. Having good game film is increasingly important if a player wants to successfully navigate the recruiting process and maximize the exposure ge receives. If any players want to have their games filmed, they must contact Matt@LacrosseRecruits.com or call 203.903.0679 to book a video professional in advance of the event. INFORMATION REGARDING THE 2010 RULE CHANGES TO HEADSOn January 1, 2010, a new rule which applies to lacrosse head dimensions will go into effect for all men's games officiated under NCAA rules. The rule affects NCAA teams, MCLA teams and select high school teams. For specific information on this rule and how it will impact you next year click here.
Brine Summer Sizzle is a Tournament of Champions Qualifying Event. The top teams in the High School, U15 and U13 Divisions will be invited to attend the Tournament of Champions - the Boys High School Club Lacrosse National Championship!
